ERP and Factbird integration
ERP and SAP
PlanitExo takes orders over from an Excel file exported from your ERP. The import updates existing orders based on their identifier keys (for example the order number), and the Excel columns can be mapped to the order's fields. The articles' routing (steps, resources, cycle times) lives in PlanitExo.
To be honest: today the ERP connection is Excel-based. A direct interface (for example an API) is a matter of individual agreement.
Factbird
Factbird measures the piece count, the stops and the OEE on the production line. PlanitExo complements it with the order data, the plan and the shop-floor user interface. Factbird remains the system of measurement and analysis.
- The order reaches Factbird when production starts, from the latest plan. The plan can be rearranged freely until then, no outdated data is left in Factbird, and orders do not have to be entered by hand.
- Starting and closing on a tablet. The operator selects the order, enters when the first piece came off the line, and when closing the time of the last piece and any manual scrap.
- Stop reasons by tapping. Stops without a reason are selected on a timeline, and the reason is picked from Factbird's own list of reasons.
- Continuation. When a closed order is continued, the system creates a new batch extended with a sequence number.
- OEE from Factbird. The tablet and the dashboard show the four levels calculated from Factbird's time components.
